Picture Retakes for Central, Middle and High School are scheduled for Friday, Dec. 1st.  Picture forms are available in the office. If your child was absent on picture day please make sure you they plan to get their pictures taken that day.  All students should have their pictures taken for Student ID and yearbook purposes, even if you don’t want to order pictures. If you were unhappy with your child’s photograph from the original picture day and want to have them retaken, please have your child bring the original picture package back on retake day and return them to the photographer.   If you would like to pre-order your child’s pictures, you can do so at www.mylifetouch.com using the following Picture Day ID: Central – EVTVJSN7W MS and HS – EVTDQDBDG

Hello Vulcan Families! The Swan bus was doing an emergency evacuation drill and got stuck in the mud. Students have been moved to another bus and are en route. We apologize for the delay in the run and any inconvenience!

Over the weekend, the high school robotics team participated in Grandville's drone competition and received a 6th place finish! Our team gained valuable knowledge and demonstrated our capabilities in many ways.

We had 8 outstanding students graduate from the Tuscola High School Health and Human Services Pipeline Program held at the Tech Center. These students had the opportunity to explore all different health and human service careers in the Thumb and do hands-on activities related to those fields. They participated in a graduation ceremony last night and each presented on something they learned. We are so proud of them!

October "Be a Star" Winners! Congratulations to 11th grade student Emilee Dembowske! She is a member the SADD Club (Students Against Destructive Decisions) and put a great deal of work into organizing an awesome anti-bullying spirit week to help bring awareness to bullying. Great job Emilee! Congratulations to 7th grade student Gabe Law! Gabe has been caught several times trying to help students make good decisions, without being prompted. Most recently, two students were struggling in the cafeteria and he helped to de-escalate the situation and found a staff member to help intervene. Great job Gabe!
