Good Luck to Junior Victoria Dekalita and Senior Nick Tallman, who will travel to Dallas, Texas, to compete in the Bell AVR World Championship this weekend. The pair will team up with students from Haslett and Lansing and compete under the Flying Delorean name.

Congratulations to November's Be A Star Winners! Crystal Lagasse- 10th grade Crystal has a fantastic personality that demonstrates her love of learning. She is always ready to learn new content and is kind to her peers. Victoria Weiss She is a good student, is always on task, is nice to everyone and is always helpful. Congratulations to our National NASRO Award winner Alexis Fabbro! Alexis assisted in a medical emergency at a home volleyball game. Alexis sprang into action and ran to get the AED and first aid kit from the hall. She also offered her sweatshirt to put under the gentleman's head until EMS arrived. Alexis knew exactly what to do and where the first aid kit and AED were.

Picture Retakes for Central, Middle and High School are scheduled for Friday, Dec. 1st.Ā  Picture forms are available in the office. Mark your calendars - someone special is coming to town... The Grinch! Join Officer Hammill, Central Shop Rite, and the Thumb Area Mud Runners as they try to grow the Grinch's heart three sizes on December 9 for the Stuff a Cruiser event. This is a great opportunity for local kids to meet the Grinch, decorate a cookie, do a craft, and help families in need.

Over the past weekend the High School Robotics team traveled to Grandville to compete in the Bell Vertical Aviation Challenge. The competition was very complicated with each student having to perform different tasks simultaneously. The team of 7 students from Vassar got 3rd place. Two Vassar students, Victoria Dekalita and Nick Tallman were asked to be on the flying Delorean team from Haslett and Lansing, their team got 1st place and will be traveling to Texas to compete in Worlds next weekend! Way To go!!!

What an amazing morning at the Vassar 6-12 building as Mr. Currie and Ms. Raymond teamed up to cook a delicious breakfast for our October Positive Behavior winners then headed to the E-Sports Lab and Gym to enjoy some fun with friends! A huge congratulations to all our PBIS winners—you truly embody the Vulcan Values, and we appreciate the positive impact you make on our school community.
