Friday, Oct. 20th is a 1/2 day of school for all students! Attention Tech Center students and parents! There will be NO Tech Center on Friday, Oct. 20th. Tech students are still expected to attend their classes here at school. AM Tech students will need to arrive at school to start 5th hour by 10:02am PM Tech students will be released to leave after 3rd hour at 9:58am

This will start Monday, October 16 and run through Thursday, October 26. Remember, you can report bullying anonymously to OKAY2SAY or tell a trusted adult.

A big, heartfelt thank you to VHS Alumni, Lydia Wilder, and the W.E.B, hosted by the Frankenmuth Jaycees. Lydia nominated the VHS Art Department to receive a $1,000 donation from the event and we are beyond grateful to accept this generous gift!!!

More information can be found on Facebook (https://fb.me/e/11BDFF1kf ) - This is a great event for parents, guardians, and kids! There will be a fire truck there that children can explore and firefighters will be available to answer questions. Miller's Family Orchard is bringing treats and there will be deals on fire prevention equipment for the home! Vassar Historical Society Lumberjack Lunch 11:00-2:00 pm

ATTENTION TECH CENTER STUDENTS! Just a reminder that Tech Center Students will be required to attend their 1/2 day at Tech during Intersession (October 23 - 27). Bussing will be provided to and from Tech Center, at the usual times, each day. There will also be routes available before and after school. Please complete an Intersession form by October 13 if you require transportation to/from school.

Congratulations to our marching band!!! The Vassar High School Vulcan Pride Band traveled to Owosso yesterday to perform in the MSBOA District 5 Marching Festival. The marching band students worked hard over the summer and fall to memorize music and drill, and earned a two, Excellent rating overall from the judges at the festival! Congratulations to Mrs. Cull and the Vulcan Pride Band for representing Vassar Public Schools with their incredible achievement!
