Vassar Public Schools will be closed on Friday, March 22, 2024, due to high rates of illness and the incoming weather. Please check our website and social media sites for any additional updates regarding extracurricular activities. Those decisions will be made around 1pm.

Tomorrow, Friday, March 22, will be a half day for students due to Teacher Professional Development in the afternoon.
Don't forget to wear your wacky socks for World Down Syndrome Day tomorrow! Also, Central students, don't forget to bring your books for author/illustrator Merrill Rainey to sign tomorrow. Dinosaur and farm-themed apparel can be worn tomorrow, too, to celebrate his visit.
Congratulations to Noah for working extra hard to earn a "snake break" with Officer Hammill. Watch for more Central Students to earn this cool reward with their positive behavior!! C'mon! Snakes are cool! (according to Mrs. Ziel) 😉

Rock and Read is tomorrow in the Central Gym. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. Gym doors lock at 5:30 p.m. and the event is over at 7:30 p.m. Tshirts will be for sale and raffle tickets for baskets will be available. Join us for our largest event of the year!
