Congratulations to Mr. Schuler on obtaining a state-funded grant that will cover approximately 90% of the cost for our students to attend the fall and spring Youth In Government conferences! This grant is worth approximately $29,000! Thank you, Mr. Schuler for working diligently to offer YIG to our students at Vassar Public Schools!

The Robotics Car Smash is back! It will take place during both the powder puff and Homecoming games. $1 a swing, 30 seconds for $5, or 4 minutes for $20.
Participants must have a waiver signed, students will get these in mentoring so a parent can sign them beforehand. Come take out some aggression on our car donated by Barnums and support the Robotics team.

Mrs. Heinlein's mentoring class decorated their door to show how much they appreciate our custodians! THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE WONDERFUL CUSTODIANS IN OUR SCHOOLS!

The MS/HS staff kicked off the start of the NFL season by showing their spirit for the Lions or their favorite NFL team!

Congratulations to our "Be A Star" winners!
HS- Sophomore, Cayden Coffey has taken major steps in his education and made significant improvements in the last year, Cayden also shows his fellow students that he cares and has empathy for them.
MS- 8th grader, Landon Atkinson has had a great start to the year! Landon is encouraging and helping students when he can in class.
Great job Cayden and Landon!!!

Congratulations to Zachary Rose for receiving the NASRO (National Association School Resource Officers) Award!
While at a football game, Zachary observed a fellow student get injured and did not hesitate to call 911 and guided emergency responders to the student. Oftentimes, most individuals freeze in an emergency situation, but Zachary had a quick response and was a true example of what we would hope to see from our students following the Vulcan Values. Great job Zach!
