Central's Book Fair Is from Monday the 17th through the 21st. It is open to the public before school from 7:30 a.m. until 7:50 a.m. and then again from 3:15 p.m. until 4 p.m. , excluding Friday, which will not be open after school. Scholastic excepts cash, credit, and wallet. Our home page for the book fair is https://www.scholastic.com/bf/centralelementaryschool84 .
Our goal is to sell 400 books! This helps to keep our classrooms and library stocked with new books.

5th Grade Social Studies MSTEP will occur on Monday, April 17th, instead of April 24th.

We have been celebrating March is Reading Month with our students here at VPS the last few weeks. Today, Superintendent Blackwell made her last reading stop of the month when she visited Mrs. Taylor's 4th grade class to read, Willbee the Bumblebee. Central families ask your students what book Ms. Blackwell read when she visited their class
