At VPS we have had 100% accuracy with tests we have administered over the last year. All individuals who test positive with a Bionex test on campus are encouraged to visit a local physician's office to get a PCR confirmatory test. Rapid tests are administered to offer peace of mind to our families. They are voluntary and not required by the district for any staff member or student. The following disclaimer is provided once a test is administered:
Disclaimer: This should not be the sole basis for notifying an individual about their infection status as a positive may be a false positive. Vassar Public School and its staff are not medical professionals. Please consult with your health care professional to confirm these results.

Menus changes are highly likely during this time; however, all students will continue to be offered meals that meet menu requirements, nutrition standards, and student acceptability.
