Art Contest 2022
We have a SUPER exciting announcement! The 2022 ESS Art Contest is now open to students in grades K-12! We're looking for creative and original drawings, paintings, or digital artwork based on the topic: āWhat would it be like to go to a school made of candy?ā Please help us spread the word to any young artists you know. Winning students and their schools will each receive a $500 gift card! A flyer is attached that can be printed and distributed.

To enter, students must submit a drawing or painting with an image representing "What would it be like to go to a school made of candy?ā
The contest ends on March 13th, 8:00 pm Eastern Time.
The top five finalists in each Grade Group will be featured on ESSā Facebook and Instagram during the week of April 4th for public voting.
Voting ends on April 10th, 8:00 pm Eastern Time.
Winners will be announced on April 13th.
Winning students will receive a $500 gift card, plus a $500 gift card for their school.

Auditions for the High School Play, The Somewhat True Tales of Robin Hood, for this evening have been rescheduled. Those interest in auditioning can join us in the High School Auditorium Tuesday, January 11 from 3:30-5:30 or Wednesday, January 12 from 6-8.

Good Evening Vulcan Families: Due to icy road conditions Vassar Public Schools will be closed Monday, January 10.

Could your student benefit from having a Chromebook at home? Vassar Public Schools has been awarded an Emergency Connectivity Fund Grant! This grant allows the school to provide students with a Chromebook to use and keep at home while they are enrolled at Vassar Public Schools. These are brand new Chromebook to the district. We are starting with one Chromebook per family. Parents please login to your Skyward Parent Access and visit the message center to learn more and complete the required forms. Forms are due on January 19th.

Join the Vassar Robotics team at their Car Smash Fundraiser happening this Friday evening during the Vassar v. Reese Basketball Game! All participants must have the Consent Form completed by a parent/guardian in order to participate. See the flier below for more information.
