Good Afternoon Vulcan Families! We will have a double run this afternoon on the Duck Bus #20-11. Students riding the duck bus will be dropped off later than normal. We will also have a double bus run on the Rhino Bus #20-8 for AM and PM runs Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week. Students riding the Rhino bus will be picked up and dropped off later than normal.
Tomorrow, Monday, May 16, we will be recognizing our Drone Competition World Qualifiers and World Champions! We invite all students and staff to wear their orange and black Vulcan apparel and get ready to celebrate!

The news we have been waiting for from Dallas: Nick Tallman and Ashley Shindorf are RADC WORLD CHAMPIONS! Not only are they world champions they are the first team to ever hold this title. The team competed well across all areas in the two day competition. For the alliance portion they were picked by the team from Haslet, MI where the two teams worked together to secure the win. Congratulations again to both Vulcan teams, and the advisors.

We have an update from Texas where we have two teams competing at the VEX Robotics World Championship! Sophomore, Nick Tallman and Junior, Ashley Shindorf are still sitting in 1st place while Senior, Alyssa Fabbro and Junior, Dreydon Sousa are in the middle of the pack trying to make a comeback. Both teams have 3 more matches left for today- stay tuned for more updates from Dallas, Texas!

Our Drone Teams made it to Dallas, Texas and competition is underway at the VEX Robotics World Championship!
Sophmore, Nick Tallman and Junior, Ashley Shindorf are currently sitting in 2nd place while Senior, Alyssa Fabbro and Junior, Dreydon Sousa are in 36th place. These two teams are competing against 62 other teams from across the country and after one day of competition seem to be doing a great job. Keep up the good work and Go Vulcans!

The 6-12th grade Art Show will be at the Bullard Sanford Memorial Library starting TODAY! The show will open Tuesday, May 10 at 3pm and will close Friday, May 13 around 2:30pm. We hope you get the chance to venture to the library to check it out!

Good Afternoon Vulcan Families! We will have three double runs this afternoon on the Rhino #20-8, Duck #20-11, Camel Bus #16-2. Students riding these buses will be dropped off later than normal tonight.

Today some of our high school students got to visit the Construction Trades Training Center in Howell, MI! Schools from around the state went there for an introduction to skilled trades jobs! There were vendors from apprenticeship colleges along with engineering, roofing, pipefitter, carpenter, welding and sheet metal unions looking to recruit high school students that are interested in skilled trades and earning journeyman certifications!
