Congratulations to Senior Kendal Roberts who is all state in the long jump for the second consecutive year. Today Kendal ended her High School career with her personal best jump of 16' 5.75" to place 4th in Division 3.

On Saturday, the baseball team will take on Valley Lutheran in districts at 10am in Lakeville.
The softball team will take on Reese in districts at 12pm in Reese also on Saturday.
Senior Kendal Roberts and junior Ashley Shindorf will compete in the State Track and Field meet in Kent City beginning at 9am tomorrow.

Our sidewalks by the middle school/bus parking end of the school are looking great! Mrs. Piazza's Middle School art class has begun their sidewalk chalk art unit today!
Prescription Medicine Cabinet Cleanout Day is coming to Vassar, MI.
Wednesday June 15th, 2022 from 4pm-6pm. Drop off any medications you want disposed of and have a meal with City Hall.

This week we will be having our Awards Assembly for our Middle School at 11:30pm during our mentoring class time in the Auditorium.
Wednesday, June 1 - 6th grade
Thursday, June 2 - 7th grade
Friday, June 3 - 8th grade
Parents are welcome to attend, please make sure you sign in through the 6-12 Office (please have your drivers license available) the assembly will be from 11:30-12:30 each day.
Tickets for this Saturdays baseball and softball districts games can be found here. Tickets will not be available at the gate.
Baseball will play at 10:00am in Lakeville against the winner of Lakeville/Valley Lutheran game.
Softball will play at 12pm in Reese against Reese.

Middle School and High School parents/students, if you would like your report card sent home, please bring in a self addressed stamped envelope with parents name and address and also put the students name on the envelope as well. Envelopes can be brought to the 6-12 office.
Good Evening Vulcan Families! We will have two double bus runs for both the AM and PM runs on the Rhino Bus #20-8 and the Duck Bus #20-11. Students riding the Rhino and Duck buses will be picked up and dropped off later than normal until further notice. The Fish Bus will no longer be a double run, those students will be picked up and dropped off as normal starting tomorrow.

At roughly 10:45 this morning administration was alerted to a number of High School students coughing. Students and staff were evacuated to the football field. The district followed proper protocols and contacted the Fire Department and Police Department to do a walkthrough of the building. At this time emergency services have given us the all clear and activates will resume as normal.
