Our students and staff love snow days. As winter storms could hit at any time, we want to remind everyone of the district's snow day procedures. As soon as a snow day is declared, the district will send a robocall, text message, and post closures on our website, App, and Facebook pages. We will also notify the following TV and radio stations: TV5, TV 12, TV 25, Fox 66, 98 FM, 102.5 FM, 93.3 FM, 104.5 FM, and 96.1 FM. The district will not decide on after-school activities until roughly 1 pm on a snow day. We want to ensure that we provide every opportunity for after-school activities to continue as scheduled if it is safe. Pushing this announcement to later in the day allows road crews to address road conditions and the district to re-evaluate road conditions. Thank you for your cooperation when the time comes.

Good Evening, Vulcan Families! Tomorrow, Friday, November 22, 2024, will be a half-day for students due to staff professional development in the afternoon. Central students will be released at 12:05, and 6-12 students will be released at 11:45. PM Tech Center students will be picked up from tech at 2:30. Please ensure those students have transportation when they return to the school.

Tis' the season for senior citizens to invade Vassar Public Schools! We want to invite all area Seniors to our annual senior citizen Christmas brunch on Friday, December 13, at Vassar High School. Event details can be found on the flyer below.

Vassar Schools will be on Thanksgiving Break from Monday, November 25 through Friday, November 29. During this time, students will be excused from the Tech Center. Vassar will not be providing bus transportation to the Tech Center, but students are welcome to attend if they have their own transportation. Enjoy your break, and we hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! 🦃🍂
