Still looking for resources to help your Senior Vulcan get ready for what comes next after graduation? Delta College and MiStudentAid will both be hosting a series of virtual and in- person financial aid workshops. Delta even has an on-campus workshop on Monday Oct 24th. That might just be a perfect opportunity to take care of the FAFSA, but also see campus and get to ask questions. Even if Delta isn't on your list, the FAFSA help alone is worth the drive. Especially with the FAFSA being a senior requirement, these workshops are a great way to get something from the senior project marked "DONE!"
As always feel free to email Mr. Hewitt if there are special situations you need help sorting out, or if you have other questions. shewitt@vassar.k12.mi.us.

Our middle school students are so talented! This is just a small sample of the MS artwork Mrs. Piazza was grading this morning! MS students drew Tim Burton inspired self-portraits (The Nightmare Before Christmas) and they did such a great job!! Talent abounds in the middle school! The beautiful scarecrow was done by Clara Hammon - she spent a lot of time mixing her watercolor to try to capture the color of denim!

Good Morning Vulcan Families!
If you have a Vulcan Senior, I'm sure you're already starting to think about how to pay for what comes next. Michigan Student Aid is hosting a series of Virtual Financial Aid workshops over the next few weeks. Not only will they provide help with the FAFSA which is a Senior Project requirement, but they will also have a trove of information on other state and federal programs that can help your family pay for whatever comes next. Best of all, you can attend online, from the comfort of your own home!
The attached flyer lists the upcoming dates as well as the link to the registration page. These will be a great opportunity to get financial aid checked off the to-do list.
Feel free to email Mr. Hewitt with any questions.
