National Honor Society
The National Honor Society (NHS) is a recognition program for high school students in grades 10-12 in the United States and several other countries. NHS honors those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholorship, leadership, service, and character.
Currently, NHS meets the firstof the month right after school while school is in session. Attendance at meetings and chapter events is necessary. Attendance at induction in mandatory. Specific dates are on the district calendar and discussed regularly meetings.
